WARRANTY POLICY

Our robust Warranty Policy is an expression of our hope for each client to have a thoroughly satisfying experience. We want our customers to be fully content with the selection and purchase of their Beyond Curtains and Blinds window furnishing. If, for any reason, you are not happy with your product/s, please reach out to our team. In support of this policy, Beyond Curtains and Blinds offers a 12 month warranty on our products.

1. This Warranty Policy:

● covers the products listed on your invoice against defects in materials, workmanship or failure to operate for a period of twelve (12) months from the date of installation;

● covers replacements of parts and labour provided for the remainder of the period of the warranty under which the defective components are applied.

2. This Warranty Policy does not apply if:

● there is damage to any aspect of the product caused by weathering, atmospheric fallout, corrosive residue or incorrect operation;

● there is loss or damage caused by normal wear and tear.

● the product is damaged by the use of any other product or access not installed/or provided for use in conjunction with the product in question by Beyond Curtains and Blinds;

● the product is re-installed during the warranty period at any location other than where it was originally installed by our team;

● the product is removed and/or re-installed during the warranty period by any unauthorized third party;

● the product is damaged by the incorrect or improper use of any consumable;

● the product is installed in a mobile dwelling

3. In this Warranty Policy:

● the owner/purchaser is responsible for all transportation costs relating to personal requests for products repairs at the premises where the furnishings were originally installed;

● the owner/purchaser is required to provide safe access to the location of the product;

● Beyond Curtains and Blinds is not responsible for costs or labour associated with gaining access to the product;

● the owner is, at all times, responsible for the repair of accidental or intentional damage caused by fire, misuse, abuse, neglect, alterations by the consumer or an unauthorised third party, incorrect or incomplete installation or operation by the consumer or an unauthorised third party, Acts of God, vermin or foreign matter entering the product.

4. For the repair of a product under this Warranty Policy:

● the owner/purchaser must contact Beyond Curtains and Blinds within 30 days of the defect/fault/damage developing;

the original purchase documentation must be presented to the Beyond Curtains and Blinds team.

To provide clients with an impressive range of furnishings, Beyond Curtains and Blinds supplies products from different brands. Products from these brands do not apply to this Warranty Policy. You can find the warranty information for each brand we carry here:

● Somfy

● Rollease Acmeda:

○ E6 & M6: Hard wired RTS & NON RTS motors carry a 7 year warranty

○ Battery operated motors have a 5 year warranty

○ Both these warranties are valid when the motors are installed properly and under normal use

● Shutters 

Opus

○ PVC shutters have a 25 year warranty

○ Timber shutters have a 5 year warranty

Encore

○ Internal aluminium shutters have a 25 year warranty

○ External aluminium shutters have a 15 year warranty

● Dalekit Awnings

Note: You may have different or additional rights imposed by the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) and other laws in Australia. If any provision applies, then to the extent permitted by law and to the extent this Warranty Policy is given in addition to such conditions, any liability under this Warranty is expressly limited to:

● the replacement of the product, the payment of the cost of replacing the product or acquiring an equivalent product at the discretion of Beyond Curtains and Blinds;

● any economic loss, expense or costs, damage to property, personal injury, or any other damage or injury of any kind, including punitive damages, (whether suffered by the purchaser, owner or other persons) arising out of or related to the design, manufacture, fabrication, distribution, purchase, installation, use, repair or replacement of Beyond Curtains and Blinds products.

This is the only Warranty Policy given by Beyond Curtains and Blinds on its products and services. No other person or organisation is authorised by Beyond Curtains and Blinds to alter the provisions, conditions and content of this Warranty Policy.
